A 600 DPI scan is our preferred choice for crisp lettering and accurate colors. If you don't have a scanner, you can upload a clear smartphone photo and use Card Lab to straighten, crop, and gently improve it.
Not happy with the result? Retake the photo, upload a better scan, or mail the physical card to Izadex for scanning. We keep the card's original artwork and wording.
Position the four green dots on the card corners, then select Straighten & Crop. The same image area shows your cleaned card and any finishing adjustments.

Brightness, color, rotation, and recropping reset optional finishing edits. Make those adjustments before your final spot cleanup or clarity pass.
Covers pixels with a solid color—not intelligent erasing. Avoid logos, lettering and important details.
For slightly soft photos or dot-screen / moiré patterns from photographed printing. The effects are OFF by default. One-click cleanup applies print-pattern reduction and shows a direct before/after comparison. Sharpening remains optional.
Select Gentle Cleanup — Apply & Compare to process the card and compare before versus after immediately. It softens printed dots while attempting to protect lettering; severe patterns may remain. Try sharpening only when the lettering actually benefits. High settings can soften small text or create halos. Neither restores detail missing from a blurry photo.
If the cleaned image already looks good, continue. If you see an extra edge, slight tilt, or fine-pattern color ripples, select Adjust Photo to make a final correction.

Read the cleaned image, correct any details, and submit for administrator review. Nothing is published automatically.
